Pork Steamed Rice Parcels Wrap

Ingredients

  • Ingredients for rice wrap:
  • Rice flour / Glutinous Rice flour 200 g
  • Casava flour 100 g
  • Water 800 g
  • Ingredients for filling:
  • Shredded chives 500 g
  • White soy sauce 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
  • Sugar 1.5 tbsp
  • Baking soda 1.5 tbsp
  • Healthy Chef Cooking Oil 1 tbsp
  • Ingredients for dipping sauce:
  • Vinegar 200 g
  • Brown Sugar 260 g
  • Black soy sauce 60 g
  • Salt 10 g
  • Red chilli 10 g
  • Deep fried garlic to put on top as you like

Method

Direction for filling:

  1. Mix chives into the bowl with white soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, baking soda and cooking oil.
  2. Stir fry chives until cooked and set aside.


Direction for dipping sauce: 

  1. Blend all ingredients together into the small pot and boil until cooked. Set aside once completely cooled, add red chilli.


Direction for rice warp:

  1. Add rice flour, casava flour and water into the bowl, stir until mixed well.
  2. Bring the pot (small pot), add water inside, cover the pot with a clean white cloth (Tore fabric is commonly used). Tie the edges tightly with rope or tore fabric. Make a mall hole on the fabric that covering the pot to let the water (steam) drain around 3-4 inches. 
  3. When the water in the pot is getting boiling, scoop up the mixed flour on top of the cloth. Wait until the flour is cooked, add chives on top of the flour. 
  4. Use spatula to cover the chive filling. Set aside. 
  5. Add the garlic and healthy chef cooking oil around the rice parcel wrap. Ready to serve
