Spring roll wrappers, cut into 3 equal-sized rectangle pieces
3 cups of cooking oil for deep-frying
1 white egg
¼ cup of green onion, diced
½ cup of carrot, diced
1 tbsp of curry powder
1 tbsp of chili powder
½ tbsp of cumin
½ tbsp of ground pepper
1 tbsp of sugar
1 tsp of salt
100 g of chicken or beef (option)
Method
Boil the carrots for 3 minutes or until they are completely cooked through. Drained and let cool.
Heat up a skillet and add Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium. Saute the onion and carrot until aromatic. Then add chicken or beef and stir fry until cook.
Season with curry powder, chili powder, sugar, salt and then cook for a few minutes.
Remove from the skillet and let cool.
Scoop 1 heaping teaspoon of the filling and place at the top center part of a piece of wrapper.
Brush the outer edges of the wrapper with the egg white, fold and form the Samosa into a triangle.
Pinch the edges and all corners to make sure they are sealed tight and there is no leakage.
Heat the wok with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium to high heat. Deep fried those Samosa wrappers until turn to yellow or golden color.
