Deep Fried Mackerel Fish with sweet and hot chilli sauces

Ingredients

  • 3 of steam mackerel fish
  • 30 pcs of red and green bird’s eye chilli
  • 2 tbsp of Chopped garlic (pound together with bird’s eye chilli)
  • 2 cups of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil (for deep fried fish)
  • 4-5 of kaffir lime leaves
  • 2 tbsp of fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp of palm sugar
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • ½ cup of water
  • 2 tbsp of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil

Method

  1. Heat the pan with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium to high. Deep fired kaffir lime leaves until getting crispy. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add steam mackerel fish and deep fried until the color turn to yellow. Set aside.
  3. In another pan, heat the pan with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with lower heat. Add pound garlic and chilli into the pan. Stir for a minute until get a good smell. 
  4. Add the rest ingredients into the pan and stir until well combined. 
  5. Serve to serve the sweet and hot chilli sauces on top of deep fried mackerel fish.
