Fried Shrimp with Tamarind Sauce


  • 8 river prawns
  • 1-2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 cups of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil (For deep friend prawns)
  • 2 tablespoons of fried shallot
  • 4-5 pcs of dried chili


  1. Prepare the prawns, remove the head and shell. Devein the prawns and wash clean.
  2. Dry the prawns with paper towel and coat with wheat flour.
  3. Heat the wok with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium to high heat. 
  4. Deep fried prawns for a minute (not too over cooked) and set aside.
