Fried Sesame Balls with Mung bean paste

Ingredients

  • Ingredients for Mug bean paste:
  • Green bean 300 g
  • Coconut cream 200 g
  • Sugar 140 g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ingredients for Sesame Ball:
  • Sticker rice flour (glutinous rice flour)360 g
  • Rice flour 20 g
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Sugar 150 g
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Hot water 240 ml
  • Healthy Chef Cooking Oil 40 g
  • White sesame 100 g
  • Healthy Chef Cooking Oil for deep fried 2 cups

Method

Directions for Mug bean paste:

  1. Rinse green bean thoroughly in water, soak in water overnight. Rinse the green beans thoroughly again, set aside to drain. 
  2. Grind the green beans with coconut milk, sugar, and salt
  3. Once the green beans are blended well with all ingredients, put them in a saucepan to stir until dries well. Set aside 

Directions for Sesame Ball:

  1. Mix sticker rice (glutinous rice flour) into rice flour, then baking powder and blend all together
  2. Add hot water, sugar and blend all ingredients until dissolves. Add Healthy Chef cooking oil and stir well.
  3. Add a bowl of flour mixing, stir well, knead all ingredients and leave it outside for 30 minutes
  4. Knead the green bean into a round shape. About 18 g / piece. 
  5. When the dough is completely set aside, divide the dough into pieces as 30 g / piece. Spread the dough into the sheet and put the green bean filling in. Wrap gently and cover the filling completely well in round shape.
  6. Mix the ball with white sesame seeds
  7. Heat the pan with low heat with Healthy Chef Cooking oil. Start to drop the sesame ball one by one. Deep fry until turn to golden color. Use a frying grill to press gently. 
  8. Ready to serve
