Homemade Donuts on The Run


  • 110 grams of All- purpose flour
  • 40 grams of bread flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 110 grams of sugar
  • 25 grams of salted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 50 grams of fresh whole milk
  • 2 cups of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil for frying donuts
  • ¼ cup of sugar for dipping / coating after frying


  1. In the large bowl of a standard mixer, mix flour and baking soda together. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix sugar, egg, whole milk, and butter until all ingredient combine together.  
  3. Add Ingredient in No.2 into the large bowl. Mix all until a soft ball of dough. Put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Cut the dough by using doughnut cutter.
  5. Heat the cooking oil in the wok with medium to high heat (170’c).
  6. Fry donuts into the wok and wait until golden brown. Set aside.
  7. Dip them with sugar all sides and ready to serve.
