Homemade Donuts on The Run
Ingredients
- 110 grams of All- purpose flour
- 40 grams of bread flour
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 110 grams of sugar
- 25 grams of salted butter
- 1 large egg
- 50 grams of fresh whole milk
- 2 cups of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil for frying donuts
- ¼ cup of sugar for dipping / coating after frying
Method
- In the large bowl of a standard mixer, mix flour and baking soda together. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix sugar, egg, whole milk, and butter until all ingredient combine together.
- Add Ingredient in No.2 into the large bowl. Mix all until a soft ball of dough. Put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Cut the dough by using doughnut cutter.
- Heat the cooking oil in the wok with medium to high heat (170’c).
- Fry donuts into the wok and wait until golden brown. Set aside.
- Dip them with sugar all sides and ready to serve.
