Stir fried prawn with coconut shoots or Jicama

Ingredients

  • Coconut shoots or Jicama 200 grams (1 ½ cups)
  • 6 pcs of prawn
  • 8 of garlic cloves
  • Chopped Scallion ¼ cups
  • White soy sauce 1 tbsp.
  • Oyster sauce 1 tbsp.
  • Sugar 1 tsp.
  • Ground pepper ½ tsp.
  • Water 4-6 tbsp.
  • Healthy Chef Cooking Oil 2 tbsp.

Method

  1. Cut coconut shoots or Jicama into pieces approximately 1.5 inches and set aside. 
  2. Clean the prawn by peeling out the skin, pull the black vein out and set aside. 
  3. Heat the pan with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium heat, stir fried the garlic until turning to yellow color.
  4. Add coconut shoots or jicama into the pan and stir with garlic. 
  5. Add white soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Stir to combine for a minute and cover the pan with the lid for 3-5 minutes. 
  6. Add prawn into the pan and stir for a minute and add chop scallion.
  7. Ready to serve with rice.
