Stir fried prawn with coconut shoots or Jicama
Ingredients
- Coconut shoots or Jicama 200 grams (1 ½ cups)
- 6 pcs of prawn
- 8 of garlic cloves
- Chopped Scallion ¼ cups
- White soy sauce 1 tbsp.
- Oyster sauce 1 tbsp.
- Sugar 1 tsp.
- Ground pepper ½ tsp.
- Water 4-6 tbsp.
- Healthy Chef Cooking Oil 2 tbsp.
Method
- Cut coconut shoots or Jicama into pieces approximately 1.5 inches and set aside.
- Clean the prawn by peeling out the skin, pull the black vein out and set aside.
- Heat the pan with Healthy Chef Cooking Oil with medium heat, stir fried the garlic until turning to yellow color.
- Add coconut shoots or jicama into the pan and stir with garlic.
- Add white soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Stir to combine for a minute and cover the pan with the lid for 3-5 minutes.
- Add prawn into the pan and stir for a minute and add chop scallion.
- Ready to serve with rice.
