Cashew Nut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 200 g. of all purpose flour
  • 200 g. of icing sugar
  • 5 g. of salt
  • 75 g. of Healthy Chef Cooking Oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp of cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp of water
  • Salt
  • 20 wholes casher nuts (spilt into half)
  • Various shapes of cookie press

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine icing sugar, all-purpose flour and salt.
  2. Gently add cooking oil and whisk to mix everything until it turn to smooth dough.
  3. Get the dough out from the mixing bowl and roll them smooth thicker around 1 cm on the tray or the parchment paper.
  4. Use the cookie press to cut the dough into a small shape and set aside. 
  5. Mix the topping ingredient into a small bowl. Brush the top small dough before baking. Add half cashew nut on top.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes with 170’c. 
  7. Ready to serve.
