Ingredients
- 150 g. of cake flour
- 35 g. of healthy chef cooking oil
- 100 g. of syrup
- ½ tsp of alkaline water
- ¼ tsp of lime water
- Durian paste or Black Sesame paste
Method
- Whisk together the syrup, alkaline water and cooking oil in a large bowl until combined.
- Add the cake flour, then stir until mix well.
- Gently knead the dough until it comes together completely.
- Roll about 1 tablespoon of the mooncake dough into a ball, then place between 2 pieces of parchment paper.
- Place one of the durian paste or sesame paste balls in the center of the dough, shape the dough around it.
- Bake the mooncakes for 5 minutes with 160’c and then take it out.
- Lower the heat to 150’c and bake for more 5 minutes.
- Set aside and let the mooncake cool down. Ready to serve.
