Deep Fried Red Tilapia with Hear
Ingredients
- Red tilapia (cut into pieces) 220 g.
- Salt ½ tsp.
- Thai Chile paste 3 tbsp.
- Finely chopped bird chili 6 pcs.
- Finely chopped chili peppers 4 pcs.
- Lemon juice 3 tbsp.
- Fish sauce 2 tbsp.
- Jiggery or palm sugar 1 ½ tbsp.
- Cashew nuts ¼ cup.
- Fried peanut ¼ cup.
- Sliced lemongrass 4 pcs.
- Thin sliced shallots 3 pcs.
- Finely chopped kaffir lime leaves 5 pcs.
- Cool mint 3 branches.
- Healthy Chef® soybean oil 2 cups.
Method
- Dry the fish them mix with salt.
- Heat the oil with medium heat and fry the fish on medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Set aside to drain. Mix Thai Chili paste, fish sauce, palm sugar together.
- Stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir fried chili, shallots, lemongrass, fried fish, cashew nuts kaffir lime leaves and mint leaves together.
- Serve with fresh vegetable such as cabbage and lettuce.
